Bajaj Electricals' aims at 20% growth
Kolkata: Bajaj Electricals’, currently number two in the lighting industry, is expected to maintain a steady growth of 20% over the next year.
Eyeing the smart city initiative, R Sundararajan, executive president and country head (Luminaires Segment), Bajaj Electrical, said, “We are working very closely on the smart lighting solutions across the country and West Bengal too, features under our most critical markets.”
To showcase smart lighting solutions, the company brought the .nxtupgrade show to Kolkata to showcase the entire range of smart lighting solutions.
The overall turnover of the group was approximately Rs 4700 crore in 2015-2016, where lighting contributed roughly Rs 1200 crore. The company also aims to focus on e-commerce platforms to considerably increase the sale.
